When I learned of the recent decline in pollinator populations due to habitat destruction, I knew I wanted to take action. My journey to receiving my Girl Scout Gold Award has stemmed from my passion for advocating for the restoration and protection of all pollinators-- not just the popular Honey Bee. Every pollinator plays a unique role in our complex and biodiverse ecosystems. Through my project, I wish to bring attention to less widely recognized pollinators.
